Tuesday: Patryk's Tzatziki inspired Chicken and Bacon Ciabatta


Ingredients: 
4 x fresh ciabatta rolls
roasted chicken
8 x medallions of bacon
homemade garlic mayo (strips of cucumber, fresh chives, garlic, mayonnaise, sour cream and black pepper)
fresh rocket

Time: 
15 minutes to the local bakery
10 minutes to prepare mayonnaise and bacon
10 minutes to make lunch for four

Review: 
A colleague visited the staff kitchen after Patryk had prepared the rolls and commented: 'you guys make the kitchen smell like a real kitchen, instead of the usual miserable work lunch aromas coming from the microwave'. 






Monday: Viva España by Marc Fisher


Ingredients: 
4 x fresh panini rolls
peri peri chicken 
manchego cheese
4 x fresh sunblushed tomatoes
fresh rocket
peri peri mayonnaise 
sticky smoked paprika chorizo (paprika, honey and chorizo fried)

Time: 
5 minutes to fry chorizo at home the night before
15 minute trip to local bakery
10 minutes to make lunch for four

Review: 
One colleague came over to the desk, looked at the sandwich and was shocked at the amount of time and effort that had gone into a Monday lunch break. Inspiring others to think bigger than their weekly leftovers.
Thursday: Mel's Chicken Avocado Sandwich


Ingredients: 
1 x small loaf of freshly baked granary bread
chicken breast slices 
1 x avocado
bag of fresh salad leaves
mayonnaise
fresh basil
pinch of sea salt and black pepper

Time: 
15 minutes to the local grocery store to pick up ingredients
10 minutes to prepare lunch for four

Review: 
One colleague described the sandwich as: 'exotic'. Proving that club sandwich is challenging the perception of the standard desk lunch. 


Wednesday: Polish Proscuitto Surprise 


Ingredients: 
4 x red onion bagels
1 x pack of proscuitto
4 x sunblushed cherry tomatoes
salad leaves
mayonnaise

Time: 
10 minutes to prepare lunch for four

Review:
This bagel turned up unexpectedly as Patryk excelled after going M.I.A on Tuesday. Absolute delight. 

Monday: Kendrick's Coronation Chicken Ciabatta



Ingredients: 
2 x large freshly baked floured ciabatta loafs
roast chicken slices
3 x tbsp of mayonnaise mixed with mild curry powder, cumin and black pepper to taste
mango chutney
flaked almonds
fresh watercress

Time: 
2 minutes to prepare mayonnaise
10 minutes to make lunch for four

Review: 
One colleague entered the kitchen whilst preparing the ciabattas and commented: 'these look very nice'. club sandwich is gaining quite the reputation. 
Thursday: 'Ou est Jean-Paul?'


NB: Due to the unexpected absence of John-Paul, one of the founding members of club sandwich, the rest of the club had to use their initiative, leftovers and creativity to swiftly produce a sandwich from the remnants of the fridge.

3 x white crusty rolls
3 x slices of proscuitto
1 x bag of mozzarella
bunch of fresh basil
rocket 
mayonnaise

Time:
20 minutes to visit local bakery 
7 minutes in the kitchen to make lunch for three 

Review: 
A colleague entered the kitchen while lunch was being prepared and commented that the sandwiches looked: 'so very exquisite and artistic'. The club even provided some fresh basil for a colleagues soup. Certainly made her week. 
Wednesday: Mel's Classic Combo 


Ingredients: 
4 x bagels
1 x packet of smoked salmon
1 x tub of cream cheese
1 x lemon
fresh rocket
pinch of black pepper

Time:
10 minutes in the kitchen to prepare lunch for four

Review: 
One colleague entered the kitchen to take her lunch out of the fridge and exclaimed: 'that looks great, all I have is a ham sandwich' and walked away sorrowfully clutching her ham sandwich. 



Tuesday: Patryk's Pop-up Peri-Peri baguette



Ingredients:
4 x freshly baked baguettes
1 x bag of fresh rocket
1 x packet of peri-peri chicken
4 x rashers of bacon (cut into small squares)
mayonnaise for dressing

Time:
20 minutes to visit local bakery
5 minutes to prepare bacon (night before)
10 minutes in the kitchen to make lunch for four

Review:
One colleague rushed over to the desk of a member of club sandwich to ask what was in the baguette. When described, the colleague replied: 'oooooooo nice'. Other colleagues were thrilled at the smell of freshly baked bread in the office, beats the usual smell of cup-a-soup.
